The room we received had a noticeable odor that was quite unpleasant, which made it hard to relax. Additionally, we experienced issues with the cleanliness, as the bathroom had a pink oily residue and the carpet felt sticky. The lack of sufficient outlets and lighting made it difficult to use devices comfortably throughout our stay.

The room didn’t just smell bad. it was practically a crime scene. absolutely disgusting! I also expected a TV, but surprise– it doesn’t work. as if that wasn't enough, the desk clerk looked like he rolled in from a dumpster. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t!

The room cleanliness leaves much to be desired—cobwebs, dust on the lamps, and dirty corners don't paint a great picture. One room had a strong smell of urine, while another lacked sufficient outlets, causing inconvenience. The lamp between the beds didn't work due to poor placement away from any accessible outlets. A mysterious oily residue around the bathroom sink added to the discomfort, making it hard to feel at home.

The experience at Country Inn Of Shelby was quite satisfying. Check-in had a few hiccups regarding billing, but the staff worked diligently to resolve the issues. The room was comfortable and met my needs for a work-related stay. I particularly appreciated the ample grassy area nearby, which was perfect for walks with my dog and facilitating middle-of-the-night potty breaks.

The beds were surprisingly cozy, and I loved how the mattress covers were zippered, giving me peace of mind. I also took advantage of the relaxing outdoor space and enjoyed the BBQ facilities during my stay. I wish the TV had worked smoothly, but it didn’t ruin my overall good experience. 😊

The Queen Room with Balcony was spacious and included a flat-screen TV with streaming services, making our stay enjoyable. We loved the private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries. The room felt very comfortable, especially with its air conditioning and carpeted floor.
